I have been invited by the European Broadcast Union (EBU) to speak during their conference in Tromsø, Norway. My return flight was scheduled on Saturday 14:00, leaving me with a free morning. I contacted to local airclub (Tromsø Flyklubb) and arranged the LN-TOS (PA28) for a local scenic flight with Frode, the instructor of the club.

We met at 10:00 at the airport. The weather was not quite favorable, light rain and a cloudbase of 800 feet, no change expected. We check the weathermaps and decided to start with a flight around Tromsø, with the option to fly westbound through the fjords. Once airborne we could climb to 1000 feet easily, we flew around the city of Tromsø. The cloudbase increased slowly and the dizzle rain stopped. We went through the fjords till the open sea to take a look at Sommarøy from above. An unforgettable experience to fly in between the fjords and watch the scenic landscape from above.
