North Las Vegas - St. George Municipal Airport (April 2012)

I have been flying in several directions from Las Vegas, however never in the area north-east from Las Vegas.

Jamie from Executive Pilots arranged the DA40 and together we made a flight from Las Vegas North towards St. George Municipal Airport.

After leaving Las Vegas North we crossed Nellis airforce base to join Lake Mead, which we crosses and then headed north towards St. George Municipal airport. Along the way a beautifull landscape of the desert. We did not land, but decided to return right away. On the way back we went overhead the Valley of Fire State Park, on of my favourite parks in the Las Vegas area.
