Ghent

Ghent is a city in the Flemish region of Belgium, and it is the capital of the East Flanders province. The city started as a settlement at the confluence of the Rivers Scheldt and Lys. A good article is available on wikipedia about Ghent

We went for a guided tour through the city, starting at the Sint Baafs-place, between the Sint Baafs Cathedral and the Bell tower.
