Bart Bogaert, Ph.D. is the Business Development Executive for the Media and Entertainment Industry in IBM’s BeNeLux Innovation & Technology group. He focuses on delivering business value through business Innovation and Technology Innovation. Prior to this role he was leading the Media & Entertainment sales practice in South-West Europe at IBM. Before joining IBM, he was strategy consultant for the Telecommunications Industry at Siemens. Previously, he worked in research and development at the Siemens laboratories in Munich. He has more then 20 years of experience in Information Technology. In parallel the studied over the past years the contention within the content industry due to the IT evolution towards cloud computing. He holds a Ph.D. in Information and Communication sciences (Tilburg, The Netherlands), a Master of Engineering (Ghent, Belgium), and a Master of Science (Ghent, Belgium). He completed successfully the business program at the London Business School (London, United Kingdom) and received the title of IBM Certified Professional. |
